2013 Swearing ceremony
Dr. Nuran Nabi was sworn in as Councilman of Plainsboro Township, New Jersey for his 3rd term on January 3rd, 2013. He was accompanied by his wife, Zeenat and younger son, Adnan. The swar in ceremony was conducted by Township Clerk Ms. Carol Torres. Members of the audience include State Senator Linda Greenstein, State Assemblymen Dan Benson and Wayne Angelo, Mayor Peter Cantu, Deputy Mayor Neil Lewis, Councilman Ed Yates, Councilman Michael Weaver, Mayor of East Windsor Town Janice Mironov and many supporters from Plainsboro and the Bangladeshi Community.
Dr. Nabi thanked his family, friends and township residents for their continued support and promised to perform his duty with the best of his ability. After earning 70% of the votes, Dr. Nuran Nabi began his 3 year term as Councilman.

Dr. Nabi was given this award in the annual event known as the Plainsboro Mayor's Brunch held on April 25th. Congressman Dr. Rush Holt, Deputy Speaker of NJ State Assembly Linda Greenstein, Mayors of South Brunswick, East Brunswick,Monroe and other degnitaries were present.
Plainsboro Mayor Peter Cantu introduced Dr. Nabi and handed over the award to him.
